Description
A classic and rather unusual small cabinet specimen from the Harz Mountains in Central Germany. Galena crystals with very smooth crystal faces and strong metallic luster show a multitude of crystal faces, with the main crystal (size?) being pretty much undamaged.
The Galena crystals are perched on creme-white, translucent Quartz crystals. A very aesthetic and historic piece; after all, the mine with its hydrothermal Lead-Zinc ore veins was abandoned way back in 1992.
