Description
Here we have a super specimen with multifaced Calcite crystals of Cumbrian style, but way larger as them. The crystals are excellent developed, superbly terminated and razor sharp. A pristine and unusually fine specimen for this locality, now long-defunct. It features prismatic crystals of high luster and good translucency to over 6 cm. The camera could not capture the three-dimensionality and overall aesthetics of this great piece. Exceeding hard to come by such excellent pieces nowadays. They appeared on the market in the 1970s and 1980s and disappeared almost completely again shortly afterwards. This is a top opportunity. EX Dr. PESL COLLECTION.
