Description
A fine and old time German Gypsum specimen from Helbra, so typical for the Mansfeld area of Harz mountains. The crystals are well developed, sharp edged and higly lustrous. They are almost excellent terminated and showing a great clarity. A super specimen from the Hohenthal-Shaft, later renamed in Hans-Seidel-Shaft and abandoned in 1958. Nowadays under construction for ballast extraction. Consequently, this great finds are over and such specimens are more and more hard to come by.
