Description

This excellent and rare old-time specimen features numerous well defined and pink crystals of Phosphosiderite richly scattered over the matrix. Here we have gemmy and transparent crystals, rich of faces and highly lustrous, measuring up to 3 mm in lenght of deep purple pink colour. The locality (Rose Quartz Cliff) is actually almost in the centre of Pleystein and is the remnant core of a now eroded phosphate pegmatite. Needless to say, collecting is now totally banned. And this is by far the best specimen of species and locale we ever handled and actually the best I ever saw. A KILLER PIECE ALL THE way and it comes with an old label with a wonderful crystal drawing.
