Description

This is a classic oldtimer of Emplectite from the TYPE LOCALITY, the Tannebaumstollen of Antonsthal near Schwarzenberg in Saxony. Emplectite is an uncommon copper, bismuth sulfosalt and this old-time specimen features metallic, gray needles to almost 1 cm and microcrystals as well, richly perched on and embedded in the Quartz-rich sulfide matrix. This is classic old material, and a real rarity on the market today. This specimen features literally dozens of flat, embedded Emplectite crystals with golden flashes in the gray matrix, easily eye-visible in person.
