Description

Polybasite in good and large crystals is rare and here we have a great specimen with several crystals, scattered over cream-white to beige coloured, with tiny Calcite blades covered matrix. The major Polybasite crystal measures 1,8 cm in diameter, has distinctive striation and is slightly coated with brassy Chalcopyrite. Despite the Polybasite is not 100% perfect, this is a rare and stunning piece with great contrast and aesthetics and exceeding hard to come by on the mineral market nowadays. Ex Dr. N.
