Description
A fantastic, cauliflower-shaped Calcite specimen, pinkish-beige in color. The coral-like clusters of sparkling Calcite microcrystals are “fused” together at the base. After the fall of the Iron Curtain in the late 1980s, the mines around Dalnegorsk in Russia’s Far East became less and less profitable, and one by one they had to close. Thus, no new material will be coming out any time soon, and specimens like these are already classics which disappear more and more from market.
