Description
Actually the famous Blackdene Mine of Weardale in England is well known for its great Fluorite specimens and good Calcite pieces are rather uncommon and faily unknown. But here we have a great one with the typical nail-head habit from Blackdene, reminiscent to the great and famous stuff from Egremont area of Cumbria. The crystals here are superbly formed, sharp edged and almost top terminated. Only minor imperfection at this great and unusual piece with great overall aesthetics.
