Description

Mineral specimens from Ehrenfriedersdorf, or "E-dorf" how this place is called by the local collectors, are among the most desired ones in Saxony and this great Apatite mini features exceedingly well developed, bluish-gray and six-sided crystals to 1,6 cm on edge. They are gemmy, highly lustrous and well terminated with only minor bruising, hard to see to the unaided eye. The major crystals is very exposed atop the specimen and all crystals are accompanied by acicular, tiny Quartz crystals. A well balanced and highly aesthetic E-dorf specimen from the old Sauberg mine which was closed in 1990.
