Description

This is an unusual good alpine Apatite specimen with relatively large hexagonal major crystals up to 2,3 cm in diameter, despite the larger crystal is distinctive contacted at the backside, where the rock was. By the way, the whole matrix is sprinkled with smaller "brothers" of Apatite crystals. All the crystals here are very sharp edged and they are showing a wonderful glassy luster. The Apatite is associated with porcelain-like multifaced Pericline crystals and is gemmy as well. Only minor bruising on the major crystals what doesn´t detract from the overall aesthetics.
