Description

This is an excellent Xenotime-(Y) specimen with extremely large, tetragonal, golden-yellow crystals up to almost 1 cm in diameter. They have excellent chisel-shaped terminations, a wonderful resinous luster with superb gemmy translucency and wonderful internal reflections. As far as I can see, all the main crystals are undamaged. The Xenotime is associated with faint, smoky brown, prismatic Quartz crystals. An extremely rich and also super aesthetic specimen—especially for this species—which occurs more in dirty brown and translucent crystals than in sparkling, gemmy and vibrant individuals like here.
