Description

A huge, bronze-colored and highly lustrous cluster of the extremely rare inosilicate Niobophyllite made up of smaller tabular crystals. Over the many years of active mining at the numerous workings at Mount Malosa, Niobophyllite specimens occasionally came to light, albeit extremely sparsely, and were mostly picked up by local experts. As a result, an impressive and attractive specimen such as this one, which is also with a jet-black, 4.1 cm tall Aegirine crystal at the base, have now almost completely disappeared from the market and fetch astronomical prices if they are available at all.
