Description
This great specimen is both,- rare and beautiful. It features botryoidal clusters to 1,5 cm consisting of creamy-beige, glassy and six-sided Apatite crystals, richly perched on elongated Quartrz crystals. The Sauberg mine of Ehrenfriedersdorf in Saxony produced over a long time fine mineral specimens as this one. It was defunct in 1990 and is the TYPE-LOCALITY of Apatite.
