Description

What a beautiful, classic Daye County specimen. The Iron-copper deposit is worked by several mines, and is famous for its reddish Calcite crystals. Just like this piece with twinned Calcite scalenohedrons to 3.3 cm tall on matrix. The main crystals are perfect with sharp edges and nice terminations. The color of the translucent crystals is a delicate brick red, the luster is adamantine. A classic!
