Description

A typical and colorful Calcite on Amethyst combination specimen from the Brazilian Iraí deposit in Rio Grande do Sul. The V-shaped scalenohedral Calcite crystals have a super luster, are partially translucent and are perched very aesthetically on deep purple, gemmy Amethyst crystals with a vitreous luster. And you probably have heard by now of the mind-blowing fluorescence of the Iraí Calcite. Top specimen!
