Description

This is an almost perfect textbook Topaz crystal, like taken out of Goldschmidt’s “Atlas of Crystal Forms”, to every crystallographer’s delight. This water-clear beauty is from the Xanda Mine in the famous granite pegmatite field of Virgem da Lapa, Brazil. The crystal has a beautiful vitreous luster and is almost colorless with a faint sherry-colored hue. Minimal chipping on the back but definitely a good 6 centimeters tall specimen.
