Here we have a very beautiful and significant matrix piece with highly metallic luster of the tabular Molybdenite from Kingsgate mineral field in New South Wales Australia. Kingsgate was the largest Molybdenum & Bismuth producer in NSW until the beginning of the 20th century, when the deposits around Kingsgate were exhausted. Consequently, this piece is undoubtedly a historic specimen, an excellent classic Australian specimen in top condition.
