Description
Emser Tönnchen (Emser Barrels) are the epidome of Pyromorphite not only from Germany´s Bad Ems region: hexagonal in cross section, barrel-shaped, and brown in color. Just like this specimen with sharp and lustrous, basically undamaged Pyromorphite crystals, associated with tarnished Chalcopyrite (typical for the locality!) on a bed of sparkly Quartz crystals. It can´t get more classic than that! Don´t miss the opportunity to get your hands on a classic specimen from a classic German locality. The Rosenberg Mine was closed back in 1963 after 130 years of operations, and all that is left are remnants of the dumps and some ruins of the processing plant.
