Here we have a fine and large example rare species Niobophyllite, related to Astrophyllite, from what has surely become the best locality for crystals of Niobophyllite. This very strange massif in Malawi has produced some awesome specimens of many very rare minerals. I have seen a bunch of good Niobophyllite specimens over the years, but rarely in this quality. An excellent opportunity to get hold of such a great rarity in splendid condition. Actually, many rarities are chopped up and sold as crumbs to get higher prices,- but not this one.
