Description
This unusual doubly terminated Calcite-twin shows sharp colours and nice, slight contrasts. The twinned crystals, to 4,1 cm in length, are scalenohedral in form and have dispersed and attractive red Hematite staining at the crystals. The backside is partly colourless and transparent with several faces. The crystals here are sharp edged of course and showing fine luster. Pristine all around so far I can see on this highly attractive piece. From the infamous Banana Slide area of Haile Moor Mine.
