Description
A fine combination piece from Portuguese locale Panasqueira Mine of Covilhã at Castelo Branco. Here we have wonderful formed, six-sided gemmy Apatite crystals, accompanied by bladed, six-sided Muscovite and sharp and brassy Arsenopyrite. This three species are accented by golden Pyrite octahedrons which are scattered over the whole surface, and disc-shaped, white Calcite rhombs. Superb material, almost pristine on the display face with excellent aesthetics. From a relatively recent find, a few years ago. Ex Dr. Schönfelder collection.
