Description

A characteristic Scandinavian specimen with the fairly uncommon phosphate mineral Hydroxylapatite from the Norwegian locality Oksøyekollen near the small community of Snarum. A remarkably beautiful, 2.2 cm measuring, doubly terminated crystal perched on a matrix of crème-white, tabular Albite. The crème-white to beige crystal with its pronounced hexagonal habit displays exceptional, tapering terminations. This is a superb specimen form a classic Norwegian locality.
