Description

This is an exceptionally beautiful Malachite specimen from the Hohenlimburg limestone quarry near the town of Hagen in northwest Germany. Several intensely green sprays, well over 1/2 centimeter in size, line the interior of a wide-open cavity in a brecciated matrix. Under magnification, you can clearly see that the tapered, needle-like crystals have beautiful terminations. Extremely strong silky luster and good translucency round off the very aesthetic appearance. A super specimen!!!
