Description

Here you see an excellent San Antonio Mine Smithsonite, with textbook botryoidal form for the species and displaying gorgeous mint green colour. Smithsonite from this small pocket is still one of the hardest examples of the species to obtain. This is from a famous and very small find of the late 1990s. Luscious, intergrown, highly lustrous and translucent spherical aggregates to 1,5 cm across, are superbly emplaced on minor Limonite matrix. Highly aestehtic and colourful material, almost perfect at the display face with only minor bruising at the periphery.
