Description

Amber-yellow, silky-glossy scalenohedral Calcite crystals up to 1.7 cm long from the clay pit at Farmsen near Hildesheim in Lower Saxony, Germany. Although the specimen is not quite perfect, it is a very attractive piece. Since the clay pit has been abandoned, such pieces are increasingly rarely offered on the market.
