Description

This fine miniature sized specimen features numerous intergrown, slender and brassy Millerite crystals to 1 cm in lenght. They are richly perched on partly crystallized, gray Quartz matrix. The Millerite needles showing highly metallic luster and the specimen features good overall aesthetics. The Friedrich mine near Wissen was an old Fe-Cu-Ni mine still abandoned in 1953. Consequently good items as this one became over the years more and more desired. Nowadays exceedingly hard to obtain.
