Also this is material that rarely appears on the market, these excellently crystallized olive-brown and transparent Sphalerite crystals up to half a centimeter in size on small, glittering quartz crystals. This is the low-iron variety Cleiophane. The sharp-edged, gemmy and multifaced Sphalerites are well developed and have a wonderful luster. A rare and very aesthetic piece from the Bavarian locale of Köditz near Hof.
