Description
Here you see a super mini of well developed, pink rhombs of Inesite from Hale Creek Mine in California. The Inesite is sharp edged, highly lustrous and mostly excellent terminated. With magnification you can easily see that the crystals are transparent. The Hale Creek Mine is a former Mn mine located in the NW¼ sec. 23, T1S, R6E, HM, 2.2 km (7,300 feet) ESE of Mad River Rock, along Hale Creek, on Mad River Ridge, on National Forest land (located claim).
