Description

Look at that exceptional specimen! An elongated chunk of matrix, which is richly studded with tabular Linarite crystals of electric blue color. With a length of 4 mm, the crystals are also a presentable size, have excellent translucency, and a vitreous luster. Absolute classic from the now abandoned Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine, located about 80 km NNW Tucson in Pinal County. My guess is that the specimen is probably 50 years old by now and classics of this caliber are quite rare on the market today.
