Description

This is a rare classic from the mid-west Sweetwater Mine: Just under 3 mm octahedral Siegenite crystals are assocated with some Chalcopyrite and Galena on white rhombohedral Dolomite crystals. Siegenite is a relatively rare nickel-cobalt sulfide and extremely rare from the locality. The crystals are arranged in spherical aggregates and sit exceptionally aesthetic and in a rich contrast on white Dolomite. An extremely aesthetic and abundant specimen for the locality and definitely from older finds from the 1980s.
