Description
This is a great specimen from the Cäcilia Mine of Wölsendorf in Bavaria, showing the famous "Fluorite-scalenodrons". These are slightly deformed multifaced Fluorit crystals of light wine-green colour. They are showing sharp edges as well and good clarity. This kind of material was the probaly most desired during the active mining period which ended in 1973. Since those days the "sclanohedrons" became more and more rare and this kind of stuff is seldom seen for sale on the mineral market. Much better in person.
