Description
Calcite is often called the mineral with the most forms in the mineral kingdom. And this specimen proves the point. A cluster of pale pink Calcite scalenohedrons, somewhat indistinct but still recognizable, is covered by a second generation of smaller Calcite rhombohedrons and scalenohedrons. And a third generation of larger, to 1.6 cm measuring translucent scalenohedrons are perched on top. A gorgeous piece!
