Description
This is a great specimen of Rammelsbergite, characteristic for what was found at Schurf 24 (Prospect 24) in the Saxon Ore Mountains near the town of Pöhla. 1,8 cm tall silvery Rammelsbergite crystals as a fern-like crystal aggregate are associated with some minor Nickeline. The locality also produced Chloanthite and Safflorite, and I would not be surprised to find the species on this piece.
