Description
Yet another top specimen from the Clara Mine: a wide open vug completely lined with botryoidal, deep forest green Cornwallite, dusted with tiny Oliveite crystals. Great color and aesthetics! Specimens such as this one were relatively common in the 1970s and 1980s when the large dump was still accessible, however, these received less attention back then. Nowadays, the potential of these collectors’ specimens has been recognized, but they have not been found for decades. As a result, these specimens have therefore become rare Black Forest classics.
