Description
This is an excellent calcite specimen with partly transparent and else translucent white Calcite crystals up to 2.5 cm. Due to the wafer-thin habit of the Calcite crystals it carries the German term “Papierspat" (paper spar). Very aesthetics specimen, a classic from an abandoned mine: the Falkenstein Mine, an ancient Iron mine that was abandoned in the early 1970s.
