Description

This is a great ore specimen from an unusual Arizona locality: The Mistake Mine. Steel gray clusters of Ramsdellite crystals with a strong metallic luster on matrix. The Manganese deposit of the Mistake Mine was discovered in 1954 with very few records of its yield. Gee, I just wonder how the mine got its name?
