Description

This is one incredibly colorful specimen. Sparkling transparent Quartz micro crystals cover deep green Malachite in a thin veneer. That gives a forest green color to the Quartz. This combination coats a black-gray matrix creating an incredible contrast. A typical and magnificent specimen from the abandoned Lucky Mine in the Orogrande Mining District where Copper was mined on a small scale between 1897 and 1929.
