Description
A relatively large Tetrahedrite crystal, shy of 1 cm, and some smaller ones, from the Georg Mine. The main crystal with a very good metallic luster shows a perfect, sharp tetrahedron with excellent striation. The smaller ones are a little less well defined. They are perched on a matrix of saddle-shaped beige Siderite crystals, massive milky Quartz and some smaller Quartz crystals. This is a great classic from a mine that was abandoned in 1965 and is now operated as a tourist mine with a restored headframe as main attraction.
