Description
A very rich piece that consists almost entirely of brown Bustamite crystals with small interspersed metallic Galena crystals. Bustamite, a relatively rare Calcium Magnesium silicate has a resinous luster, is translucent and shows the approach of crystal faces. This is classic material from the famous Australian locality Broken Hill. This species occurs in a similar form in the Franklin Mine in New Jersey, however, without Galena. That’s a specialty for Bustamite from Broken Hill.
