Description
Huge Apatite crystals up to 2.3 cm on a matrix of mica schist, typical for the Central Alps in Tyrol, Austria. The light olive-brown crystals are nice and sharp with a fine sub-vitreous luster and a good translucency. A pristine specimen, a top piece for the alpine locality with peaks reaching over 3,300 meters in altitude. Pieces such as this one rarely appear on the market, they mostly disappear in the treasure chests of local collectors.
