Description
A large specimen covered with sword-shaped Marcasite crystals. They are sharp with top terminations, even if a few crystals are not complete. The color ranges from brassy to copper red, caused by beautiful patina. A top specimen from a rather unknown German locality, with the martial Teutonic name Graf Moltke Zeche [Mine], an Anthracite mine that was closed in 1972 after more than 100 years of mining activity. And who is surprised that no new material has come onto the market since then.
