Description

This Boracites are not the typical modified crystals you see from Lower Saxony as usual,- these are from Thuringia and way more rare and even better in quality. Here we have several exceedingly sharp and well formed bluish-green crystals to 0,5 cm on typically matrix. They are very gemmy, highly lustrous and the overall aesthetic is superb,- especially for this rare species. The Glückauf Mine was under construction from 1895 until 1991. So finally the mine is defunct since almost 25 years. Consequently, good specimens as this one are very rare and highly desired.
