Description
A specimen with translucent rhombohedral Calcite clusters consisting of numerous smaller crystals. That creates a slightly parquet texture to the crystal faces, yet a very smooth surface. The clusters are perched on whitish to reddish, translucent Dolomite rhombohedrons. The reddish color is caused by fine Hematite inclusions. A typical and classic Schlema specimen from the mining period that ended in 1990 with the German unification.
