Description
A large piece of a Silver ore-Fluorite vein from Freiberg in Saxony, unfortunately without a more specific locality indication. It shows numerous well-crystallized deep dark red Proustite crystals in vugs and cavities, which are lined with small, translucent Fluorite cubes, and, as a small bonus, we find cream-colored, rosette-shaped Barite crystals scattered here and there across the specimen. Excellent and unusual material, which in my opinion, and comparing this specimen to others, comes from one of the shafts of Halsbrücke, but I have no proof of it.
