Description
A classic German Calcite specimen from the Falkenstein Mine in Hesse, Germany, which was worked for iron for centuries and abandoned in 1973. A cluster of multifaceted, sharp Calcite crystals with a vitreous luster. The color ranges from translucent to white with rusty-orange brown micro inclusions; not unexpectedly for Calcite from an iron mine. Very few blemishes, and a great aesthetic appeal.
