Description
A 1.6 cm measuring amber colored Titanite crystal perched on a white matrix. The sharp crystal is pristine, with perfect terminations and shows the onset of twinning. Some faces are dusted with Chlorite. Some smaller, well crystallized Titanite crystals are sprinkled on the Pericline matrix. Pericline is an Albite variety occurring as milky-white, elongated (along the b-axis) crystals, a general indicator of alpinotype clefts. A classic alpine specimen from the famous Habach Valley (check out the Emerald from this locality in this auction!) in the border region of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
