Description
A classic specimen from the heydays of the 1970s of the Cavnic mine, the most famous mine in the Cavnic mining district in the northwest of Romania. Sharp tetragonal Tetrahedrite crystals with a metallic luster associated with brown partially gem quality and translucent Sphalerite (var. Cleiophane) on a bed of white to clear translucent Quartz crystals. A very typical sample with all species well crystallized from this world-renowned locality, with great contrast and very aesthetic.
