Here we have an excellent, nicely twinned cluster of Calcite from well known Sarbai Mine of Rudny in Kazakhstan. The Calcite has pale yolk yellow colour, is sharp edged and highly lustrous. This is a truly great Kazakhstan Calcite from finds in the mid-1990s. This gemmy, transparent, relatively complex, pale yellow, very lustrous Calcite crystal is an excellent example from these finds and is on a sliver of matrix which is uncommon for these. Highly aesthetic material.
