Description
Beautiful, kelly-blue Smithsonite botryoids with excellent translucence and "wet-look" luster form a sculptural and fine specimen from the Kelly Mine of New Mexico. Kelly Mine Smithsonite has gone from being readily available to being depressingly hard to find. This specimen has the fine robins-egg blue colour and surface shimmer that makes these specimens so distinctive and sought-after. The display face is almost pristine, but at the backside of the cluster it was contacted. A great and colourful specimen.
