Description
Here we see sharp, bright and excellent formed Bournonite from the classic locality of Georg Mine near Horhausen in Westerwald, Germany. Actually, most of the specimens you see are jumbled up and undamaged pieces are rarely seen. In this case the crystals are almost intact with only minor dings, exceeding hard to recognize without magnification. They are accompanied by less but superbly defined, golden Chalcopyrite. Both species are multifaced and they are showing a fine metallic sheen with a hinted patina. The backside is sawn. A super mini in splendid condition.
